How to maintain your Ursuit drysuit – Tips for a long lifespan

• Post-use maintenance:
• Rinse thoroughly: Use fresh water, especially after diving in saltwater. Make sure to rinse away sand and dirt. Pay special attention to the valves and the zipper.
• Dry completely: Ensure the suit is completely dry—both inside and out—before storing it. Avoid drying in direct sunlight, saunas, or humid areas.
• Lubricate the zipper: Lubricate the zipper after every use. Open and close it a few times to distribute the lubricant evenly. Check for loose threads around the zipper and carefully trim them off.
• Use talc on seals: Fragrance-free talc helps maintain the neck and wrist seals, keeping them in good condition and preventing material degradation.

Storage tips:

Always store the drysuit with the dry zipper open. Empty the pockets before storing the suit, and ensure it is dry and the zipper is fully open.

When should you turn to the professionals?
While small tears can be repaired using the patches supplied with your suit, larger leaks—as well as repairs to seals, zippers, or boots—should always be handled by an authorized Ursuit service center.
